At Lakesite Accounting, our mission is to bridge the gap between business owners and their CPAs.

We understand the unique needs of small businesses and offer corporate-level expertise to ensure your financial records meet the rigorous standards required at tax time. We promise to provide timely communication, clear explanations, and professional service at every point along the way.

We are a mighty and close-knit team, located across three states, ready to partner with our clients to relieve the stressors of the bookkeeping process.

    Heather Moreland

    CEO / FOUNDER

    Heather and her husband, Robert, live in rural east Tennessee with their hound dog, Paisley. Since starting Lakesite Accounting in 2022, she has lived in multiple cities across the Southeast and Midwest. She loves hosting friends and family at their home and has a soft spot for hot tea, board games, and good conversations.

    Sara Dawson

    CLIENT ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

    When I'm not helping people at Lakesite or traveling with my husband, I love to enjoy the neighborhood by riding my e-bike, working in the garden, or walking the dog. I live for cozy Sunday mornings and the satisfaction of finishing a NY Times crossword. I try to bring that same thoughtful focus into every interaction, always aiming to make things a little smoother and brighter for those around me.

    Rebekah Risley

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Rebekah has been with Lakesite since April 2025. She is a wife of almost 10 years to Luke, and Mama to an almost-3-year-old daughter. When not working with Lakesite or keeping up with her toddler, Rebekah enjoys spending time with family and friends or snuggling up with a good book and a cup of coffee.

    Whitney Belden

    ACCOUNTANT / CLEAN-UP MANAGER

    Whitney has been married to her husband, Josh, for almost 10 years and is mama to an active 7-yr-old. When they're not rushing between sports practices, playdates, and homeschool adventures, the Beldens enjoy spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and snuggling up on the couch for family movie nights.

    JR. BOOKKEEPER

    Taylor is a Chattanooga native. In her free time, she likes hanging out with her friends, laughing, and having a good time. One of her favorite things about Chattanooga is how the mountains look when the seasons change: it is one of the prettiest sights to behold.

    ACCOUNTANT / MAINTENANCE MANAGER

    Bree lives in Otis, Colorado with her husband, Jamie, step-daughter, and standard poodles, Max and Boomer. She has two sons, who both live in Fort Wayne, IN. She enjoys tennis, podcasting, and the gym.
