Meet Our Founder
Heather Moreland, MBA, CB
With nearly a decade of hands-on experience, Heather is well-equipped to handle complex bookkeeping and accounting. Her prior experience includes accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting, chart of accounts design, financial statement preparation, and segmented profitability analysis.
She values open communication and aims to make financial discussions comfortable and approachable. She's dedicated to helping you navigate your financial journey with ease and assurance, ensuring you’ll never feel overwhelmed in the process.
Heather and her husband reside in the lovely Blue Ridge Mountains outside Asheville, North Carolina. They take day trips along the Parkway with their coonhound, Paisley, and enjoy playing board games with friends and family. When she's not working or adventuring, Heather can be found on the front porch with a book and a mug of hot tea.

Lakesite Accounting was founded in Lakesite, Tennessee. The name also pays homage to the refreshing mountain lakes of Western North Carolina where Heather grew up and now lives.
